Educational Resources
The Academy for Eating Disorders offers continuing education credits and has a number of publications aimed at helping medical professionals work with eating disorder patients using evidence-based treatment.
iadep is the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals. Aside from offering a certification (CEDS), iaedp offers professional development opportunities, symposia, and has hundreds of local chapters for direct involvement in your community.
The Eating Disorders Coalition (EDC) aims to address eating disorders through advocating and introducing legislation to help those with eating disorders. The EDC helped advocate for the Anna Westin Act of 2015 to help increase training initiatives for medical professionals and decrease out-of-pocket costs associated with residential eating disorder programs.

The National Alliance for Eating Disorders offers a help line, treatment center database, free support groups and resources for individuals with eating disorder and their families.
Project HEAL helps individuals navigate treatment options, insurance, and offers assistance through meal support groups and financial assistance for treatment.
The National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders (ANAD) provides free support groups, recovery mentorship, a treatment directory, as well as resources about eating disorders and evidence-based care.
