Kylie is an expert in financial aid and is well known for her ability to train and educate staff. She has presented at numerous regional workshops and conferences throughout Florida. She holds 11 certifications from the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA) and was one of the first individuals to earn the title of Certified Financial Aid Administrator.
As an instructor for The University of Tampa's First-Year Seminar course Kylie created a curriculum focused on building resilience and mental wellness in students after seeing a need to advance the emotional intelligence of college students - particularly those transitioning from high school. Kylie utilizes a robust curriculum derived from constructivism and cognitive learning theories so her students are able to incorporate their knowledge and skills inside and outside the classroom.
